Founded on Insight

Back in 2019, our founders noticed something troubling. Malaysian businesses were drowning in financial data but starving for actual insights. Spreadsheets ruled the day, but meaningful analysis? That was harder to find than parking in KL during rush hour.

We started Cognix Kinox in a small office here in Ipoh – far from the financial capitals, but close to the real businesses that needed our help. Our first client was a local manufacturer who'd been using the same Excel template since 2010. After showing them what proper financial statement analysis could reveal about their cash flow patterns, we knew we were onto something special.
